During January, Captain Richard spends most of his time in north Brevard County chasing redfish and sea trout in the Mosquito Lagoon. Windy weather has forced us to chunk bait for redfish and sea trout in the shallowest parts of the lagoon where shelter from the elements keeps us out of winter's cool wind. This January has been productive in the south end of the Mosquito Lagoon and also on the Merritt Island side of the Northern Indian River Lagoon across from Titusville. Artificials in slews and deep holes are also producing numbers of small trout, redfish and black drum.

Great Fishing, Great People! - I have been honored to share a boat with Captain Richard on more than one occasion. He and Captain Gina are super super kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I have been blessed to fish from Canada to Florida, and I can give only the highest of praise to Lagooner Fishing Charters. I plan to fish with them many more times in the future.
