October's fishing signals the end of warm summer weather and officially brings in the Florida fall winds and temperature changes. The beginning of October has brought giant redfish in both the inshore lagoons and the nearshore beaches. The lagoons will eventually come on strong as large schools of black drum will overtake the breeding schools of redfish. If winds stay calm look for remarkable fishing to continue both nearshore and inshore for many of Florida's gamefish species.
Tripletail fishing in the fall can produce some of the biggest fish of the year and October is no exception. The only thing that will hold anglers back from fishing for large Canaveral tripletail during October is the wind and waves as the fall sets in so does the noreasterners and that will kill the anglers chances of pursuing these great tasting gamefish out of Port Canaveral. This October has been a hit and miss on the weather but when the weather has cooperated the tripletail fishing has been consistant and there's been some whoppers caught. Call Captain Gina and let her set up a fishing trip this fall for world record sized tripletail out of Port Canaveral with a Lagooner fishing guide.

Inshore and Offshore Charter Fishing near Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.
A very knowledgeable guide and knows the area waters well. We were on big reds and trout within minutes of the leaving the dock and ventured about the lagoon to catch different species. The scenery in the Lagoon is remarkable!
Richard’s boat was well equipped with good equipment, he was well prepared to adapt to the different types of fishing through out the day. My primary focus was sight fishing for big reds on fly - the flies that Capt. Richard provided were right on!
Booking the charter was a breeze, his wife Capt. Gina was very accommodating to work me in (thank you Capt. Gina).
Capt. Richard seemed to know who was hungry at the right times – and we had some impressive catches! Well done Capt. Richard, and thanks for a great day on the water!
